Connie Resch is a Canadian-born artist and illustrator living in Woodinville, Washington. Her artwork is inspired by traditional scientific and botanical illustration and draws influences from vintage ephemera. She uses a variety of media including colored pencil, ink, acrylics, watercolor, and sometimes digital painting. Driven by a tenacious curiosity for things in nature, she tends to concentrate on details and mechanisms and enjoys creating surrealism with her art. Both human and animal portraiture has been a big passion of hers from early on, as is creating joy for others through her artwork.
