Jamie Lightfoot is a photographer and oil painter based out of the Pacific Northwest.

“My first passion has always been photography. In high school, I captured an image of a train accident that led to being a Stringer Photographer for the Associated Press. I used the money to build my own darkroom in the basement of our house.
Starting in black and white film, photography taught me about light and how to convey the story or feeling through composition. My love of photography has only grown since then.
With my oil paintings, my goal is to manipulate light to invite the viewer to come along on a journey. The structure of the work provides a roadmap for the eye. But the path is impressionistic, leaving the mind to fill in the blanks and the observer’s soul to complete the scene.
Each piece of art invites you on a different journey. And even though the eventual destination can be uncertain, the trip will provoke thought, feeling, and action.”

If you are a member who is current with your dues, and would like to attend, please RSVP to katherine@woodinvilleartsalliance.com.

If your membership has expired or you would like to join Woodinville Arts Alliance, you may join or renew here.
